Every farm has a beginning—and ours began right in our backyard.
The Blackwell Farm grew from a simple idea and a shared love for flowers. After years of planning weddings and arranging bouquets, I thought I knew flowers intimately. I’d held thousands of stems in my hands, designed for countless celebrations, and witnessed the emotion that fresh blooms bring to life’s most meaningful moments. But I never expected to fall so deeply in love with growing them.
My husband and his family, lifelong flower lovers, encouraged me to plant a few blooms behind our home tucked in the countryside of Franklinton, NC. What started as a small hobby quickly blossomed into something bigger—something that felt both grounding and inspiring. With my vision and his steady support, we realized the joy we found in watching a seed transform into a bloom was something we wanted to share.
Together, we created The Blackwell Farm: a warm, rustic, family-run flower farm specializing in seasonal, locally grown blooms. Today, our fields are filled with the same love and intention that started in our own backyard. We’re starting small on purpose—caring for each plant by hand and focusing on serving our family, neighbors, friends, and surrounding communities.
But this farm is more than a place of beauty—it’s a place of purpose. We pray that The Blackwell Farm becomes a gentle ministry, a space where the peace of God can be felt, where conversations are uplifting, and where the gospel can be shared naturally and lovingly. Just as each seed grows in its season, we hope hearts are encouraged and lives are touched by the presence of Christ through all we do here.
The Blackwell Farm isn’t just a place where flowers grow. It’s a place where family, creativity, faith, and community meet; where rustic wood cabin—farmhouse charm blooms alongside new beginnings; and where each stem carries a piece of our hearts and the hope we have in Jesus.
Welcome to our story. We’re so glad you’re here.
